David Lewis, joined the Board of Directors of the Trinidad Dry Dock Company in June 2013.
An astute and resourceful entrepreneur, he has over 36 years of experience and knowledge in the flexographic printing, converting and packaging industry. He is visionary, proactive, and a team leader who is passionate about improving processes and people.
His dream to create a small business that would have been his family's legacy led him, in 1978, to start up Label House Limited, a small flexographic printing company. However, the company has since evolved beyond David's expectations and has matured into the Caribbean region's leading manufacturers of corporate, promotional and brand identity signage under the Label House Group of Companies.
David is a prolific contributor of innovative ideas and competitiveness concepts and has a proven track record as an accomplished thought leader. His success with improving manufacturing processes and introducing inventive techniques has contributed to the Label House Group currently exporting 60% of its packaging to 25 countries, servicing multinational corporations and large local firms - where powerful brand names rule the market.
David's proven leadership skills at the helm of the many successful business ventures and community projects that he has undertaken have made him the accomplished businessman and philanthropist that he is today.
David is also the Honorary Consul to Trinidad and Tobago, for the Republic of Poland.
